Meet the team
Pete Wyles began MCS, formerly MTS (Midland Technical Services) in 1987 from home, specializing in building exhibition stands for clients in the midlands. His approachable and friendly work ethic generated word of mouth recommendation from clients wanting more and more services that Pete began to build into the MCS offering. Having built up an enviable client base managing conferences and exhibitions for corporate brands nationwide, Pete continued to run the business with a team of dedicated and experienced freelancers. In 2007, Pete’s daughter, Rebecca Muldoon, joined the business, bringing an even more rounded service offering with a career history in events, PR and marketing. Together they formed a true family business with valuable support from the wider family unit. Growing the business further, they employed the first non-family member in 2012 and continued to expand both service offering and full time employees. Pete stepped away from the business in 2014 placing Rebecca as MD and inspiring change and growth for their family business.
Today, MCS Event Pro boasts multifunctional office space in Nottingham to house event management, technical production, graphic design, creative and administrative services all under one roof. With a team of eight full time employees and a host of exceptional freelance support working on big brands UK wide, the future remains full of excitement and enthusiasm to make Pete proud.
